Brian Iagnemma, Co-Founder

Brian Iagnemma is a seasoned leader in the construction and manufacturing industry, known for his visionary approach and commitment to excellence. With over 25 years of experience, Brian has held key executive positions at prominent homebuilding companies such as NVR (Ryan Homes) and Essex Homes (now Stanley Martin). During his tenure, he oversaw the development and operation of over 400 communities and $6 billion in residential sales while personally entitling over 8,000 lots, showcasing his proficiency in various aspects of homebuilding including BFR, land, finance, lean manufacturing/construction, sales, and operations.

Brian’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree with dual majors in Business Administration and Marketing from Duquesne University, as well as a Juris Doctorate Degree from Duquesne University School of Law. This diverse expertise in both business and law has undoubtedly contributed to his success in navigating the complex landscape of the construction and manufacturing industries.

As a Co-Founder of Synergy Structures, Brian is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for clients. His keen understanding of market trends and client needs has been instrumental in both companies’ growth and expansion into new markets and product lines.  Under his leadership, Synergy has become known for their commitment to quality, efficiency, affordability, and environmental stewardship. Michael Iagnemma, Co-Founder

Michael Iagnemma’s journey in the construction industry is truly remarkable. His transition from multiple roles for the country’s 4th largest homebuilder, NVR, Inc. (Ryan Homes), to entrepreneurship showcases a bold vision and entrepreneurial spirit. Starting with Southeast Building Services, Michael demonstrated adaptability and a keen understanding of market demands.  Michael has personally constructed over 1,500 homes in his career and has an unmatched understanding of how to deliver a quality structure at an affordable price.

His decision to venture into light gauge steel manufacturing utilizing 3D BIM technology with Synergy Manufacturing, despite skepticism, underscores his innovative approach to addressing industry challenges. By merging 3D BIM technology with light gauge steel panelization and offsite construction, he not only addressed structural and other issues related to wood but also revolutionized the construction process. The establishment of Synergy Manufacturing as the largest roll forming operation in the country speaks volumes about his leadership and strategic foresight.

Al Iagnemma, Chief Operating Officer

Al Iagnemma is a seasoned executive known for his adeptness in implementing Lean-Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and exceed customer expectations. With a rich background in manufacturing processes and operational excellence, he has a track record of delivering sustainable revenue and EBITDA gains across domestic and international markets.

Al’s leadership extends to global operations and management, marked by strategic alliances in key regions such as Asia, Europe, and Latin America, with a particular emphasis on India, China, and Mexico. His strategic acumen and hands-on approach have been instrumental in navigating diverse challenges across startup phases, periods of growth, and market downturns.  His notable achievements include:

  • Leadership: Al orchestrated a remarkable turnaround as Chief Operating Officer at Kohlberg Holdings, where he transformed a company with $12 million in revenue and a net loss of $1.8 million into a market leader with $78 million in revenue and $12.5 million in profit within 24 months. He subsequently marketed the company for an equity sale exceeding $100 million.

Lester Harding, Director of Design and Innovation

Lester Harding is a seasoned and visionary professional with an enduring passion for advancing innovation in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM). As the Director of Design and Innovation at Synergy Structures, Lester is at the forefront of driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading practices within the organization. Jason Wright, Plant Manager

As the Plant Manager at Synergy Structures, Jason plays a crucial role in overseeing production operations within Synergy’s manufacturing facility. His primary responsibility is ensuring the efficient and effective running of the facility, optimizing resources while upholding high safety standards and driving productivity. Jason leads a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. He is responsible for developing and executing production schedules, managing workflows, and coordinating with various departments to meet project deadlines and customer specifications.

Jason has made significant contributions to Synergy Structures by streamlining operations and enhancing quality. He successfully designed a plant layout that maximizes efficiency and implemented a comprehensive safety program that ensures high standards are consistently met. His introduction of a Preventive Maintenance Program has greatly improved equipment reliability. Additionally, Jason plays a key role as an instructor at Synergy University, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of workers. He also created a highly effective Inventory Management Program and coordinated the Loading Program and Logistics, optimizing supply chain processes.

Before stepping into his current role, Jason worked as a Machine Operator at Synergy Manufacturing from 2019 to 2022. As the first to hold this position, he took the initiative to develop the Machine Operator Training Manual and established a Daily Maintenance routine for the roll forming machines. He worked closely with senior management to plan the floor layout and build assembly tables to enhance workflow. Jason also played an integral role in quality control by implementing checkpoints to monitor product accuracy, quality, and order completeness, ensuring the highest standards were met. He trained assemblers, shipping staff, and receiving personnel, while developing a comprehensive Inventory Management System to track materials and products.

Jason is also a Certified Welder, skilled in various welding techniques and equipment. His certification allows him to define testing and certification requirements for all products, ensuring that Synergy’s offerings meet rigorous standards of quality and reliability.

Adam Brado, Quality Assurance Manager

As the Quality Assurance Manager at Synergy Structures, Adam Brado is responsible for ensuring that all products adhere to established quality standards and regulations from material procurement to the final inspection and release of finished products for shipping. His commitment to excellence ensures that every product meets the highest standards before reaching our clients.

Before joining Synergy Structures, Adam gained valuable experience in the construction industry through several key roles. From 2008 to 2020, he worked as a Carpenter for construction firms in North Carolina and Virginia, specializing in custom home framing, including both built floor systems and slabs. Adam excelled in stick-built homes, expertly measuring and cutting rafters and beams, and working with manufactured roof trusses for various projects.

Throughout his leadership roles, Adam managed crews of up to 25 people, ensuring projects were completed on schedule. He worked on numerous government contracts and obtained a sensitive government clearance, allowing him access to secure government buildings. His primary focus was on masonry and masonry restoration, where he honed skills in overhead concrete demolition, finishing, and caulking.

Adam’s career began as a Carpenter at Master Craftsman in Conyers, GA, from 2003 to 2008. Starting as a helper, he quickly advanced to become one of the lead carpenters, specializing in wood decks and home additions. This early experience instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the importance of punctuality and teamwork in the construction industry.

Alex Wiseman, Service Manager

Known for his leadership, Alex excels at simplifying complex processes, meeting tight deadlines, and consistently delivering outstanding results. His hands-on experience not only involves overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facility and its equipment but also ensuring seamless coordination across all departments to maintain optimal workflow. Alex is deeply committed to creating and sustaining a safe work environment, having implemented stringent safety protocols that protect everyone and reducing workplace risks.

A strong advocate for safety compliance, Alex holds certifications in areas such as forklift operation, first aid, and CPR. His dedication to safety extends beyond compliance, as he proactively designs and delivers comprehensive safety training programs that ensure all team members adhere to the highest industry standards. Nelson Londano, Production Manager

Nelson Londono is an experienced and results-driven Production Manager with over 12 years of experience in managing production operations. Throughout his career, Nelson has demonstrated expertise in optimizing installation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and leading cross-functional teams to consistently meet production targets. He is adept at implementing lean construction techniques that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute to significant productivity improvements.
